| If that's colour matched and ready to bolt on that's a damn good price. Should look good when it's all on. |

www.spoilerfactory.com.au Thats where i bought mine from. If you buy a kit (front, rear spoiler, grill and wing) itll cost u as little as $1000 their awsome. Their bolt on, but u gotta spray them. Oh and mine arent sprayed the right colour. they were sprayed to what i told them, but just before they arrived i changed my mind about the colour :P

| Hmmm...just $1000? Lucky you being able to say that. That's $1000 that I don't have, and if I did have it...suspension, rims, tyres, subs, amps, carputer, wireless network (for the car) and a 8" touch screen all come first :) |

lmfao. before i put the body kit on and did a respray myself (which looks awsome i might say) i had 2x6" in the front door 2x 6"12" on the rear window parcel compartment and a 200W head unit. Nothing special but it got the job done.
Now, the rims, suspension and all that crap, their still to come :P but i didnt lower the car untill i got the body kit so that i knew how far down i could go |

| Also my VN put today to shame my mate's Audi A4 turbo quattro which is pretty tough (runs a t28, forged internals etc) and a HSV avalance which is supposed to be a super tough crewman... I was over the moon... my mate wasnt impressed lol hes spent $9000 on the engine on a $25000 car... I've spent $0 on the engine on a $300 car... god I love my VN |

Cop car to 100kph is probably the most memorable one for me. You know how it is, on ramp to the freeway, it goes to one lane half way down and they sat in the left hand lane (everyone else sits in the right because it's easier). They figure that no one is going to try to beat them to the speed limit...oops!
Needless to say they weren't too happy, and for all the effort I put into not spinning the wheels or exceeding the speedlimit, they pulled me over and did a full on-the-spot roadworthy. They were looking for the 'performance' mods, because, and I quote "There's no way this old heap can beat us, not unless you've worked the motor, pop the hood please sir." I just stood there and grinned as they stared down at a STOCK 3.8Ltr V6 motor. They couldn't believe it. I was so proud of my car.
As for the engine for the pirate monkey, have you considered a rotary engine? I've heard that the RX7 engine can fit in quite happily. Throw a turbo or two at that, and there's not many cars that will be able to keep up, once you've got traction that is. |

Only problem with running that much power through the driveline is that it tends to snap stuff. You'd better be thinking of upgrading the transmission, diff and axles as well.
I think when the car is done, I'm going to have to come up and see it for myself. I don't think pictures will do the damn thing justice. |

| TRACTION the magic 8 letter word.... and a tough VN's most frequent problem..... as for driveline, any self respecting car nut who doesnt want the diff housing etc left at the traffic lights will put many hours of thought and planning into it lol |

| It's kinda sad, but I know of a lot of people who do up the engine to produce mental amounts of power, and overlook things as important as brakes. There's nothing I hate more than someone who pours thousands of dollars into the engine and gets it producing crazy amounts of power, and still runs stock brakes. |

| hehehe idiotic.... the reason why my car is gonna take so long to build and why its gonna cost me so much is because when I do something, I dont like doing a half-assed job. Anyone with an ounce of wit knows that the stock brakes are almost incapable of roping the beast in as it is....let alone after some serious cash has been poured into it...its like setting up a date with destiny...and a power pole. |

Little short on time there Johnny?
For all that people complain about the stock brakes in the poverty pack VN's, I've never had a problem with them, sure...I have damn nice Bendix pads in there, but when I stomp on the anchors she pulls up without a fuss. If I really jump on them, I can cause my passenger some pain :) |

| 16.02 for the quarter? I'd love to time mine properly. You should be able to get it down into 15's without too many problems. Once you've finished all the work on it though, I think you should be looking at sub 10's :) |

im taking mine up to get it timed before i do the upgrades. Then ill time it again when its finished. (yes i was short of time :P) Im putting race breaks into it, no point in putting a farm load of horse power and leaving out the traction. "hey my car can do 10 seconds on the track, but unfortunatly, i can only do it once, because i cant stop the car after its going" :P oh and ah YAY WE HAVE A NEW SUBMISSION INTO THE DISCUSSION :D |
