Guys, my car has central locking. Problem that I've only just come across now is that when I use it, the rear drivers side door wont lock. It will unlock, but not lock. does anyone know why this is happening, and if its an easy fix? |

its prob without doubt the actuator! either the actuator itself is screwed or the wire that is tied to the door wire is falling out of place.
in english: the metal rod that connects the actuator to the door lock must have loosened over the years due to wear and tear pretty much! so u need to take off ur door trim to have a looksie poo!
if u need help taking apart the door trim then just holla as i have done it now at least 3 times for each door lol i can help u step by step if u need it! :-) |

maniac is right on that 1 it is probebly the metal rod that connects the lock rod just give the connector a good tighten and if it still isnt locking then u may need to get another rod the actualator is working if it is unlocking. Push ur central locking button when door trim is off and have a snooz.I am guessing it is the rod from the actulator bending because i had the same problem whilst i was installing mine :) cheers hope it helped :P |
