an alarm system works by detecting a drain in the system power-ie interior light turning on when the door opens/ignition switched on, or the shock sensor being triggered. Every alarm is differant and it would help to see the picture that you took. but basically an alarm needs to have 12 volt power via the battery, also install a fuse under the hood, wiring to the shock sensor, ignition, a led light and if you have keyless entry, a line to the lock.

Cheers,
Nodg.

okay today we hooked up the central locking and screwed the unit into the car.
i found out that locking is negatively pulsed! so if ne1 is hookin up a alarm to central locking u now know.

im up to hooking up the indicators to the alarm!

does ne1 know the best way to hook them up? not sure if i should connect it at the switch or maybe the hazards! cos i need to hook it up after the fuse.

does ne1 know where to connect them? which wires work best? i have a wire which will turn on the indicators and 1 which will turn them off! so i need to wire 2 wires from the alarm to the indicators at some poin!

also ne1 found a good spot in the firewall to feed wires to the battery and a siren?

ne help would be greatly appreciated!

cheers fellas

maniac, go through one of the grommets/rubbers in the firewall to acces the battery, and the hazzards are the only option to get all the indicaters to flash when you push the button.

Cheers,
Nodg.
