Hey all.
I'm purchasing a HSV SV89 on as i sell my VN. Just wanting to find out a bit more about these cars. I know a bit so far, but anything info at all will be welcome. I know they are different to the SV5000. As far as i can tell there were 200 made, all in Alpine White, all with maroon velour & leather interior with full Calais options i beleive. Engine i think was rated at 180 or 200kw, with a higher ratio LSD to standard (possably around 3.5-3.7, non IRS)?? They were the second ever HSV produced, the Walkinshaw being the first. Thats pretty much it. The car i'm getting is number 34, pretty well mint with 84,xxx k's on the clock, 5 speed, full service history and all receipts from factory (including purchase). Costing me $3,500 with 7 months rego. BARGAIN, in my opinion!!!
Cheers, Nick.

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

| I would like to get my hands on one of them in the future, but the price is a damn bargain and if you do modify it, make sure to keep all the original parts cos I reckon they might go up in price in a couple of years... especially if they are in mint original condition |
