Hi guys and girls! Recieved my Yella Terra 1.8 ratio Roller Rockers yesterday, and installed them today. The car had its 90,000 service at the same time, along with a new O2 sensor. Went for a drive this afternoon to test things out. Did'nt floor it, but did open it up and I am very happy with how the roller rockers perform. The pod filter now makes a strong sucking sound at 80km/h at descent throttle, providing a strong induction noise that was'nt there before. I am yet to "give it" to it as I want everything to settle and make sure that all is working smoothly, but I must say that there is a noticable improvement in response off the mark.

that's great man has your car only done 90,000km's?
by the way about the pod filter u best make sure that has an enclosure around it so it's sucking cold air mate to get the best performance and engine life. |

| The car was my grandfathers. He bought it brand new in July 1991, garaged it from day one, so when he passed away last January, the car was in good shape, and only had 84,000km on it. The car has been serviced every 5000km, and I have spent a fair bit on the motor's performance, and with the addition of the roller rockers, i am very happy. Took it out today and gave it a bit of stick. HAPPY! |

| Have you got the pod in a box?? |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

| No. I am unsure of what to do regarding insulating it. Mace Engineering make a box for about $300. When i got the pod, i threw my airbox out after a few months. I wish i didnt. Any ideas guys? |

my advice would be to get a pod filter cold air intake enclosure from mace engineering as soon as u can because running you pod filter and sucking hot air from around your engine bay is not caring for your car or making worth while your performance upgrades.
you will increase engine life and performance by getting the enclosure, plus the mace engineering is no mucking around it's just bolt on.
Remember the colder the oxygen sucked into the engine the more high temp combustion in the cylinders which = more power.
I your gona go the whole nine yards with your motor why not do this because unlike mine your car really seems worth while spending the money on with those low km's and all. |
