Hi guys, Going along the freeway at 110 my car feels like it wants to stall but doesn't the next thing i pull over, turn the car off, and then the car doesn't start it makes a ticking noise like the battery is flat, so i get a jump start off someone and then it's fine but it still goes along like it wants to stall, my friend tested the battery with his meter and 13.5 volts the battery is and then when you start the car it drops to 10, so my question is, if your battery is stuffed can it make the car feel like it wants to stall when ecelerating and can it make the car engine miss it's beats? i thought my belt tensioner was stuffed too cause it's jumping up and down. please get back to me

| If u dont wanna take it to a shop and get the battery tested straight up flog a mates for 15 mins and take it for a drive. But if the battery isnt holding charge id say it could be it.Another test.. go along at 110 and then start turning things on..lights, air con, watever. Put strain on its power and see wat happens. If it gets worse then its either battery or altenator. A battery shop will tell u in 5 mins wat it is. |
