Im having some issues with my power mirrors... ummm they dont... you know.. work...

The little green light doesnt light up and my mirrors wont move... is this a prob with the switch or with wireing?

ive checked the fuses and they are fine so wat are you all thinking it is?

If you dont like what I say, take a valium, and go away.

Have the door trims been off before?? Remove the mirror control from the door handle and make sure that it is plugged in. If this is plugged in and the fuse is ok you have a wiring problem. The first place i would check would be on the battery side of the fuse using a multimeter or a test light. Have a go at that and let us know what you find and we will go from there.
Good Luck!!

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

so many reasons for that. examples ive seen before on many commodores- cut wiring to the mirrors, fuse blown, sticky joystick, faulty joystick, sticky mirrors. to name a few..... the first step in trying to get a vn;s power windows to work is to move the mirrors manually side to side, up and down a few times being extremely careful as they will break at the blink of an eye, next check fuses and joystick operation (try a mates or try replugging your existing unit) if all else fails check for power to the joystick and mirrors then go from there.

Cheers,
Nodg.
