The interior light in the rear of my VN station wagon has ceased to function when the rear tail gate is opened.Anyone know where the switch shown in the electrical diagram is hidden?Also it seems a common problem with VN's for the interior fan to lose the first two speeds.What's the cause of this? Any help appreciated.

Inside the tailgate, it's a mercury switch, and it should be screwed in near the centre of te tailgate, near the lock.
Pretty sure it has a white wire (with a black stripe) going to it.
