Hey all, just wondering, has anyone out there done the conversion on their vn/vp? And if so, can u share prices and tell us if it is worth the change over or not? Thanks.

| yo, i have done the vt brake upgrade along time ago, the first thing i did was get the whole vt brake upgrade kit - $400, put that on the car was good, but the feel of the pedal was still ****(vn's have a crappy brake booster), the next step i did to get my brakes the way i wanted which i am so happy with now, i went out and bought a second hand VS brake booster and master cyclinder, then i had to flare out the ends of the brake lines to make them fit in the cyclinder. my brakes now are mad and i would have the setup i have now rather than crappy abs, id like to control were im skidding into rather than just lock up and can't steer at all with abs. |

| Cool. So the booster and cylinder are a straight swap without any type of mod? Where did u get the upgrade kit from? I saw one for sale made by whiteline which was $740. |

$740??? what a rip off, all that money just to stop?, how much do u weigh??? anyway, the cyclinder and booster is a straight bolt in, just the brakes lines where they come into the master cycl, you have to make the ends flared out so they fit, easy mod with no expense, hope dat solves your probs. i got my vt brake upgrade from a place called ALLCOMM Wreckers(moorabbin)($400) the kit comes with Brake Pads, Rotors, Adapter hubs, brake hoses, twin piston calipers |

| 740 is too expensive. I paid over 2years ago 500 for the setup including xdrilled discs. Just get a 1'inch master cyclinder and use the standard booster. There is no modification required when installing the master cyclinder. |
