ok, since its a known fact that all commodore electric aerials stuff up, ok i have bought and aerpro aerial for my vn(replacement), i used the existing bracket and made my own bracket to fit the new designed aerial, now it all works good but, when i turn on my radio, the aerial goes up half way then goes back down again, there is something wrong with the control box that controls the areial, what could go wrong with these things and i know there located somewhere above the ecu, when i push the buttons on the dash, they work, it will go or down but wont stay there?? help anyone

| yeah mine does the same thing - thought i might be something to do with the 'down' switch being permanently engaged or something because when you press both (up and down) it goes up but wen u let go of 'up' it obviously goes down. I my mate who's a mechanic and he seems to think it might be a worn motor (but i dunno why it would go up in the first place tho!!) lol not much help for you but just a few other ideas....anyone know how to fix this problem? |

| ok, ive fixed the power aerial problem, its not the aerial, its a small little black box behind the glove box that controls the aerial, i got a new one of them from the wreckers for $10 and my aerial works again like new, what causes them to stuff up is the relay inside the little black box stuffs up and sticks on down |
