how would i go about putting vn calais gages into a 89 vn what do i go about doing this

what guages? do you mean a dash? you can put a tacho dash in very easily... stage 2 dash i think, can find some pretty cheap, but iv seen them sell at over $100 before.
simply pull out old dash CAREFULLY and connect up new one |

| and will the vn calais one with just the tacho,temp,fuel and speedo (no digital stuff) work in my stock vn without changing anything???? like the plugs ect i have the stock one in now with just speedo,temp and fuel just want to know as soon as i put it in will it work????????? |

| Level 2 cluster will, that has tacho, fuel, temp and speedo. Not digital. Level 3 is digital and bit harder to install. |

As far as I know there's no reason that the calais cluster (L3) can't be directly swapped for the L1 or L2 clusters. The only difference is the LCD screen down the bottom of the L3 cluster. In order to have that work there's a bit of extra wiring that you need to put into the dash, and a few extra switches.
If you just want the dials to work, but don't care about the LCD portion of the cluster then you SHOULD just be able to swap it over. |
