Just bought 2 blue 6inch i think neons from Super Cheap. Gonna put one by the drivers feet and one by the passengers seat! Will install a switch bought from DSE! mi bros an electrician so he will assist!
Anyone know about having the neons near the foot air con? make any diff with hot or cold air?
Any other feedback? such as placement of neon? and i know their illegal to drive with on so spare me the lecture!
Have a look at the night shots of my car in the "my rides" section. I've got a tonne of the little buggers in my car. Heat doesn't seem to bother them too much, I've had them installed for more than 2 years now, they've made it through summer and winter twice and never stopped working (with the exception of when I put a steel cap boot through one accidently).
I've also got a nice bank of switches in the center console, it's a good spot to hide them, so that people can't see a mystery switch anywhere, you can surprise them a bit. Plus...it's just got that James Bond feel about it, lifting the lid on the center console and having a dozen switches in there.

NEONS ARE FITTED AND GROOVY! Mi bro did the whole thing improvising since i bought all the wrong switches n cramps etc. Finishes off nicely just a pitty the switch itself isnt illuminated!
i think neons can ruin a car... looks to ricer.. anyways why do you want to look at your feet when you drive...i just hope you dont go asking about installing a 4" cannon exhaust tip.... i may start to worry then.. lol
Who would have though petrol would cost so dam much
