hi just today i jacked my car up with a trolley jack jacking it up form the centre of the diff took the wheels off and while i was doing this i noticed both my wheels spinningat the same time. so does this make it an lsd i also tryed doing a burnout(in my driveway not street) and the 2wheels didnt spin so that has got me clueless is it an lsd or just a single spinner that spins on 2 wheels wen off the ground lol b4dn xxxx ??????????

| when you turned the wheel did the other one turn the same way as the one you turned or in the opposite direction, if it turned the same way you got a L.S.D if the other way sorry no L.S.D |

| hmm got me beat it should have spun both then looks like were in the same boat, better leave this one up to mouce he will know whats going on |

| It does sound like you have lsd, when you did the burnout did it shudder at all? iv been in a few cars with lsd and when doing a burnout the lsd only kicks in at high revs and you feel it when it kicks in. Other than that get under your car and look for any writing on the diff, either post the info here or google it... |

If it's the factory holden LSD, there's a chance that it has worn to the point that it WON'T double leg any more. They do loosen up fairly quickly, and when they do, they don't lock up, they behave just like a normal open diff.
However when you've got both wheels in the air and spin it slowly by hand...it could well have locked up then.
BTW: Sorry for having not been here, but I was up in Horsham for the weekend, no phone, no computer, and I didn't even have my commodore with me. Kinda nice to get out of town every now and then. |

| LSD's usually have a metal tag on them with something stamped into it... I think the diff ratios or something |
