hi ive been reading through the forums and came past many ppl wanting to respray ther car but it cost to much ($3,000) well if this helps and u live in melb on the south side theres a asian guy in springvale oppisite to the train station who does spray jobs to cars mostly nice looking show cars and jap cars i asked him awhile ago and he told me he can re spray a car for bout $1,000-$1,500 and for a full respray he can do it for bout $2,000 so mite help if u go past ther and ask him cos i seen the carz his done and they look very very nice. and trust me if u bargain with him he probly do u a betta price who knows. k thats all just thought i had to tell. b4dn xxxx
A very common way to get the price of a respray down is to offer to do all the prep work yourself, that involves stripping the car (lights, bumpers...) and sanding it back by hand yourself. It takes ages, but if you get a slab and a few mates it isn't too painful. This can wipe a large chunk of the cost off.

lol either that or work with a guy who's a panel beater/spray painter by trade, buy the paint and a slab of beer and drop it all off at his house for the weekend
