Hi my mate vn sounds like its running on 4 cylenders it hapend when he was waiting for the traffic lights it now produces F><^ all power and backfires and sometimes stops . idle revs sit really low . i think it is the coil pak but just want some input from you guy before he does anything . thanx

| Exact same thing happened with my mates vp. Turned out it was one of the coil packs. |

Check the coil packs, leads and plugs.
If you drop a lead or a plug, it'll have the same problem, the coil pack is probably more likely though. |

| yeah, i had that happen, i chaged leads n plugs, then coil packs n dfi and that fixed it, but the idiot mechanic forgot to put the earth lead back onto the coil pack so that created worse problems. |
