| U know i think there are a few freakish factory cars out there... I think that someone or a group of someones on the production line decided to have some fun, and change a few things in some of them, what it was i don't really know...? Or maybe Holden ordered a few out there that were really good... Or maybe it is up to the luck of the draw. I mean yes there are fast ones out there but there are some real slugs as well... But generally holden made great cars...... |

Given that the cars are mass produced, and the tolerances in the manufacturing process is so high (look at the throttle bodies, some open to 100%, some only open to 80%)...if you get a car where one or two of the bits are maxxed out (say the t/b opens to 100% and the heads are a little smoother than aveage), it's going to run better than a car where the heads are a bit rough and the t/b doesn't open as much.
It's just luck. |
