hi to anyone that can help.

have a vn v8 commy, it has recently had the trans re done and we are having problems with finding where the vacuum hoses go.

we couldnt find anything about vacuum hoses in the service and repair manual.

if anyone can find it or let me know where they all run to and from that would be great.

cant seem to find anything!

thanks donna.

I'm not 100% on the V8, but I know that for the V6 there AREN'T any vac hoses running to the tranny. There's a breather tube that runs from the tranny that just sticks up into the engine bay (I'm assuming you've got an auto).

Or are you talking about ALL the vac hoses in the engine bay?

whivh vac hose u shouldnt have 2 take any hoses of that r in the engine bay unless u diconnected the map sensor hose and took the throttle body off 2 get to the top housing bolts..(I know I did) if that's the case it connects to the back o0f the trottle body, there's a little pin that u can t c when bolted in but feel around behind the throttle and u should feel it!!

just a question but did u fit it your self or a mechanic??? and have u taken it for a drive 2 c if there is a vac leak cause the car will tell u straight away by coughing and farting ect... post back !!

hi, i wish i had more info, its my boyfreinds car. thought id just see wot i could find out for him, he knows all the stuff tho. ill get him to come on Friday and tell ya wots going on.

he had someone put the trans in. and got it all connected up, took it for a drive, and it does cough and throw a bit of black crap on high revs. and did seem to miss a bit, but after blocking up some of the hoses it seemed to be fine.

just found some hoses that came from no where and wondering where they came from.

we are taking it into someone next week that should clear the problems that we can see or know about!

If needs be I could provide you with photographs of all of the vacuum lines. Just let me know and I can email them to you.

trizo: the guy that was fixing it, just stoped some of the suction from one of the hoses or something, as if it were connected to the correct spot. to see if that was the problem.

the car would idle fine, as soon as you gave it alot it would start to cough and miss every now and then.

im sorry i dont know more, i was just watching what they were doing!! so only tryin to say wot i think i saw lol.

VNSVLE: if it would help that would be awsum.
