Looking about the place I have seen a few climate control modules for sale for the vn. Is it possible to replace the existing knobs, buttons and switches for the new hotness or am I pushing it uphill?

Cheers

Mike

Theres more to Climate control then just the module.
There a lot of sensors, relays , wirring and heaps other stuff too .

It will be very costly and time consuming to fit .

hey,
while its not for the faint hearted it can be done. I did my own conversion not so long ago.
to do the conversion i bought a complete climate control system which included the whole heater box and electronic unit out of a 96 statesman. that way you can then basically swap all the gear over on to your own heater box.

The major pain in doing this is that the whole heater box has to come out to get one of the sensors in therefore EVERYTHING on the dash must come off. Once this is accomplished you either need to change the wiring loom for something off say a 91 statesman or change the loom yourself as i did.
