I got my vn, 1990 white berlina, would that make it series 2?

Anyway, it has a small water or coolant leak coming from behind the water cog thing at the front of the motor, its the one right in the middle, would it just be a sh!tty seal?

It doesnt neccessarilly have to be a series 2, mine is a March 1990 but it is the last of the Series 1's... check the fuel rails. S1's have relatively small, black, cylindrical shaped rails whereas the S2's have large chunky, ribbed, silver ones.... as for the coolant, mine had the same thing and it was a shot water pump... get it checked soon, cos if it is the water pump and it does let go, your temp gauge will let you know in a hurry....it WILL hit the red zone. would also pay to change the screws that go straight through to the block as they can get severely corroded and no one wants to have their water pump drop off while their driving.
