| easy on fella's keep it friendly!!lol the claws r out and the dancing cat is spitting!!theres nothing wrong with auto's or man's but the fact of the matter is u get wat u choose! oh yeah supercharged or stok wat ever u got manual or auto I know that I can get the best outa anyg/b by the way u drive Ialso know 4 a fact that my auto driven manualy can do just the same as any manual 5-6 speed @matt ur right 2 we are all in the same boat sum r better of than others and sum r just poor asses (LIKE ME) and make do the best of wat they got!!! p.s fellas keep it friendly!!;P |

By saying you shift out of first at 45kph, you're missing out on a large chunk of the rev range. You should be shifting out of first at about 55-60 when you're on the drag strip, getting out of second at about 85 is fair enough, get out of third at about 130, and it's time to make the move to fifth after about 170-180. But most stock VN's don't make it to that sort of speed over the quarter mile so it's not that much of an issue. |

thats my car i got 4.11 diff gears and striaght cut first n second gears
id love an auto to run consitint times but manual is way more fun
at 45 in first it is at 6100 because i got a aftermarket ecu wich means
extended rev limiter
full manulized auto mmmmmmmmmm f*&k yea |

Yeah okay, with a 4.11 diff then that's where you should be shifting at. But for everyone who doesn't (didn't) know that, you're telling them to shift way early. You've gotta remember that most people around here have vehicles which are pretty much stock.
As for the aftermarket ecu, did you just get a different chip or a completely different computer too? |

gees thats gotta suck toping out first @ 45, but why did u use 4.11's a 3.5 or 3.7 i thought would of been heaps better as the vn's get off n go quickly already.
on mine i got the extended limiter 5800, so its still not harsh but i can pull about 73 out of first, and it starts to drag its arse at 120 in second, it does't mind hitting the limiter in first, but i'll never do it again in second, it nearly put me off the road it was that voilent, and i've never managed to hit it in third. |

on the burout pad i can get my car into 5th gear depending on wat tires i have got on and the stickness of the pad on the night
if u got an auto get 4.11 diff gears and dont tell ur mates and watch u flog them make sure u got a tight lsd or a spool tho for traction
manual 3.5 or 3.7
this is with n/a motors
i have 4.11 for the fun thats all and i dont care bout fuel |

guys relax... accelerate and listen to the engine....note what speed or what engine note it changes gears in the go semi atomatic and do the same but this time wait 1-2 seconds after it hits the note or speed that it was shifting at in drive then shift....
ALSO EVERYONE HAS HAS SOME PRIDE IN THEIR CAR, OR ELSE THEY WOULDNT BE HERE. SOME HAVE MORE CASH AND MORE OPTIONS. TO MAKE FUN OF SOMEONES CAR IS not COOL.
FOR THE RECORD, most of the toughest drag cars are AUTOMATIC.
It is a matter of personal opinion @aadamsvn19, I dont like youre bodykit, paintjob or rims but I didnt call it puss.
Think before u talk, or in this case think before you type... that way we will ALL enjoy this forum and our cars.

Good job Mouce. I would of locked it as well, but you beat me to it.
As for aadamsvn19 car, as a personal opinion, I like the look and color of it. It is what makes the world a different place, different opinions.
aadamsvn19, you should not jump at someone like you did. I know others will not like my car, but it is mine and what they say about it, is up to them. I will give them that opinion and say "well if that is way you feel, bad luck, it is my car". |
