Hi, im thinking of doing my car a favour and getting it painted. But then i thought...NO! because i was to lazy. But then i thought of painting it myself...
Pros and cons here people
and before you ask
NO i havnt painted a car before
NO i dont know how
YES ive read everything on the interenet there is about painting your own car
NO i dont know any auto painters
YES i have panel beating experience
NO i dont have the equipment
YES i can get the equipment
NO i dont know where
YES ill find some.

lol. umm if you want a good job get it done properly. my mate did his corolla and it looked ok but it wouldn't suit doing to any other car it was abit dodgey but meh. i would say get it done properly.

no previous experience. dont do it.
it's a very dilicate procedure. and learning on a good car is a real waste. if you want to learn. but a ****box gemini. for $100. and straighten and spray that.
metarials and paint will exceed $500. so it's not a cheap lesson either.

| well i was thinkin of just gettin a ****tly little car and painting that first...besides my VN isnt a good car...lol you have ur good cars...then ur bad cars...then ur **** cars...then my vn :P |

go to the library and get a book on the topic. then study it and give it a go. |

will do. ive managed to get 3 paint work shops in the area to take me into their workshop and give me a full car respray demonstration (on other peoples cars of course :P)
