hey guys i just brought a series 2 dash for my vn and what i wanna no is what is the best way to wirer it up? Is it relatively easy to do myself or am i better to get an auto elec? I want it done properly so any pointer would be great guys!

should be plug and play, but make sure its NOT from a vr/vs otherwise it will short out

it is out of a series 2 vs executive.

do not try and install it otherwise u will burn/short out the wiring harness. im not exactly sure but i think you can transfer the speedo, taco, fuel and temp gauges over to the vn/vp backing. the differences are that the circuit board thing is differently wired on the vr/vs compared to the vn/vp,

inotherwords vn-vp is plug and play

vr/vs plug and play

vs-vn/vp will not work

this doesn't have the vs guages in it it still has my original dash cluster cos i wanted to keep my k's. I was thinking about getting a vs hiring harness and sending the whole lot to a auto elec what do you guys reckon?
