| computer, driveline, exhuast, clutches... thats all stuff u gotta change. Would be easier to use a vn motor but supercharge or turbo charge. Saves alot of screwing around and probs work out cheaper. Budget tho, u can do anything to a car providing u have a big budget lol |
Boost me, and double clutch me so i can get my. Loss of Traction! |

| have a read through some of the old posts on the site , there was alot of talk about this b4, personly I think its a waste of time putting a vx motor in, if you gonna spend that sort of money in the long run itd be cheaper to buy a super charged vx and drive that rather than try to fit it all into a 20yrold car shell, my suggestion would be to get you engine rebuilt and bored, over size pistons a nice set of rolla rockers, v8 t/b and a big fuc off charger to sit on top , a lsd and exaust combined with a rebuilt g/b you would have more than enough power,.... dont take anything away from the old buick motors, they have the potential to be a ballz out motor with the right work done to em! |

If it were I, I would buy a wrecked five litre VN / VT as a donor car. Plentiful and cheap and that way you have all the parts to do the conversion.
If you have a bit more cash, look for a wrecked VT with a GenIII in it but expect a fair bit more work getting everything to fit. You could do the same if you are really set on a supercharged six... don't forget some VR/VS Statos came blown aswell. |
