what are the spring thing on the spark-plug leads for? the bits that go onto the plugs. can they be replaced with standard type leads like on most cars and lawnmowers?
If you're talking about the external 'boot' on the lead they come in all shapes and designs... god knows what you Kiwi's use ;)
Pretty much any lead can be used- just shop around as prices vary from one store to the next even before you start taking core and diameter into account. Definately try and get some that are pre-sized for the VN though to save having to cut them to size yourself.
