I had a loot at this, as my car just got extractors put on them. The manual can fit both auto and manual, but the auto can only put auto in, they're slightly longer.

aussie your car is auto yeah? so your sayin that the auto pipes will only fit a auto, and the manual pipes will fit both ?? sorry your wording is a bit confusing!

lol sorry trizo, no.
An automatic car can only fit automatic extractors, but a manual car can fit both auto and manual extractors.

Auto extractors fit both, manual pipes fit only manual :P

EDIT
And yeah my car is an automatic.
I'm not sure if a converted automatic into a manual can fit manual extractors, I'll chase that one up.

an automatic car converted to manual can run both sets of extractors. the reason why the auto cannot fit the manual extractors is because the gearbox is wider, and that hits the extractor Y pipes, so you cant install them correctly.

well 3 days later 1 power steering reserve 3 cuts and a bit of grinding of the right side flange and jacking up of the motor. The extractors are on and i hade trouble fitting the exhaust to the y pipes i just took the rubbers off the bolted the exhaust on . definetly more top end power .

benche, is the rubbers hooked up or did you keep them disconnected and force the tailpipe to connect?

Cheers,
Nodg.
