first off welcome , quick easy power upgrades for a 5.0 cai system and exhaust,if its auto shift kit it, then a cam and head work but that coast $$$ you can always change your diff to like 3.45 diff gears but then again $$$ you will need, hope that helps
also take a read throught some of the forums mate there are a few people here with v8 calais (lucky people) check out the members rides part theres a few in there
Ahk cheers man yeah I swapped my vg ute 5 speed for a the vn calais today good swap I think, a few people reckon a bigger throttle body kit a ss induction kit 2.5 inch exaust system extractors + the shift kit and maybe a chip or something you reckon that sounds alright? How much is a cam on average anyway what does it even do haha
mate that all sounds great only thing is i would be careful putting a chip in it depending on who you bye it from that is ,cam haha i am looking into that myself as i have been told to get a 992a wade cam but that's for a v6 about $2-300 not shore on the v8 but heaps of places and people who will know
