hey all im new here i found this site in my journeys and being a vn freak i thought i had best join to date i have owned 4 vn's
1989 vn ssv (first car blew it up) 1989 vn calais mock up (got ripped 1 day after i did it up) 1988 vn bt-1 (heavy foot had serious engine noise) and now im onto my 4th which is a 1988 vn 5 speed manual with a custom exhuast , vr coil packs and a sports filter i have redone the interior myself in a velvot like blue fabric,have water temp & battery level tacho's along with a shift tacho which i wired 2 shift lights too it . system wise i have (all brand new ) a jvc 06 model mp3 head deck running 6 inch kenwwood fronts and 350watt kenwood 6x9 along with a xplode amp and 2 1200 watt 12 inch boss subs wired together with a sony 4 channel 10 gauge hi power amp kit needless to say at half power all my windows vibrate and i set off car alarms lol . well i wont go on to much about my ride so yea take it easy and see's ya around

Welcome to the club, and i must say 4 VN!!! damn man flog your cars hard or what!! sounds like a decibel monster aswell. |

Sounds like a nice set of cars, just a pity they died (or got taken). Hopefully we can make your current one hang around a bit longer than the others.
Just a word of warning, if that 10Ga cable is running from your battery to amp, I'd SERIOUSLY consider replacing it with at least 8Ga, preferably 4Ga, and the earths as well. Ditch the sony amp, and replace it with something a little better quality and you should be able to make your ears bleed a little easier. |

| lol funny u should say that mouse i changed over my power lead and changed the amp to a 400wrms amp to power my 12 inch subs i am going to use the xplode amp for my 6x9's and i have another two amps that il try to work something out . keep in mind i only have half my sytem in i still have 2 10 inch subs another 12 inch sub and a 15 inch sub waiting to go in lol hey as soon as the you put up how to do your memcal could you let me know im hanging for the know how lol |

| finally finished first half of my new sub box just got the sides left and my boot is fully done (hopefully) il post pics up to show you all and also il post pics of my roof job i did i reupholstered it but added a flame touch |
