| well first it was sanded back and cleaned up then we sprayed a coat of primer to show the nicks and things then we bogged any nicks then sanded then primered, sanded, primiered repeated until satisfied. Then your top coat goes on so, the colour then you sand spray and repeat that at least 4 times. Then clear coat, the must have, spray sand, spray sand repeat. There was a lil more to what i am doing as i was spraying a body kit, and i have left those bits out. But if you want real instructions on how to do it properly go to an auto paint shop and ask, they will be more than happy to help. |

| you would atleast need to sand the roof once before you sprayed it else it really wont work well, you will need a fine grade sand paper for this. And as is it may not work well cuz you may need to do a base coat. If you do sand the roof once and spray the colour on make sure you also purchase some clear coat to go over the top once the colour is done. |

there is one other way too rub your roof back without haveing too sand quite so much the first time round n thats wiht rip n strip disks fom the auto paint supply shops only thing is it will take it all back too bare metal n you have too start from scratch n prime it then sand n so on n so on but it does make it alot easier the first time round im redoing my entire car at the moment so taking it back too bare metal is always the best surface too start wiht not sure how you go takin the roof back too bare n then trying too blend it back in with the rest of your car though you could always try n let us know what not too do |
