Go the Holden Supercharged V6 CAI instead of the SS inductions one.

Or you can do what we did. Buy a $30 pod and build your own heatshield and use a hole saw to cut a whole straight below the pod. Just finish everything off with that black stuff along the edges and it looks the goods. Worked a treat and cost us SFA.

Or you could do it properly, buy the CAI and build a box for the pod to sit in. That way you're not chopping big arse holes in any panels. I'm not a big fan of drilling holes in cars. Plus, you're less likely to get water/stones/mud all over your pod if you use the CAI, if there's just a big open hole under it there's a very good chance you'll kill the pod really quickly.

Get a heat gun and heat the edges of the CAI and squash them a little. I assume that's where it is hitting. Also, don't forget to remove that black rubber strip that hangs down from the bonnet (otherwise the CAI is blocked).

If you can't be stuffed squashing it to fit properly, just heat it up with the heat gun and drop the bonnet on it, so that it gets squished that way.
