I just bought one off Ebay, stating that it provides a 15kw increase in power. Is it bull****? Or was it money well spent?

Pfft. The guy off ebay I'm guessing.
I looked at his feedback, and everyone said it made a difference and he was fine, so I'm assuming it's all good.
Hopefully it wasn't a waste of money. |

just another name to bump the price up a bit and make it sound more extreme, how much did you pay?
Also if 15kw is quoted, this will be with a sports exhaust and cai/filter as well bringing the combined output around 15kw. theres no way you would get 15 raw kw from a chip on a bog stock buick v6 |

I've ordered a memcal from greenfoam/nicefrog. I've only read great things about him on justcommodores, it should arrive soon, see how it goes. No quoted kw gain, but a lot of people have said it will improve fuel economy. |

lol the chip you brought might be a reset chip .the memceal brought out the stage 3 pro performance chip that was made to control a hevly worked motor then people found out that they run ther cars with out doing any work to ther motor. the reset chip is designed to reset the factroy specs . the only way to be shure is to have it tested it cost me $80 to find out that i wasted $120 i spent $200 on a rest chip .both of the chip's look the same so that is just my opinion by the way who did you by the chip from
