Hi all, I have just received my new Crow Cam Stage 2 Cam and Memcal package and will be installing it in the next few weeks. The work on the engine will be no problem, and I believe the cam can be easily removed without removing the engine, however does anyone know if the Air conditioner condenser in front of the radiator can be removed without discharging the air con system? Thanks

I would suspect not, as on our VR the nut on the condensor split and the whole thing discharged explosively all over the place (very interesting at 100 kph, I can tell you). Thought it was the gearbox going, it was that noisy and smokey. But after everything had died down, had a look and the pipe into the condensor was hanging in mid air, and there was a rapidly disspating puddly on the ground under the front of the car (rather than the middle).

Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down.
