ah can any 1 help me ive got a taco but it wont works as i think i am hooking it up wrong red=+ yellow= lights green=rpm black=ground (aka)- got instructions by just tells me the wiring only i hook it up but there are no rpm's showing ive hooked the green wire to the black wire near the coils twin coil by the way all computer but not the dizzy (distributor) i am i hooking it up right? or where should i try the rpm wire i know it works on the pulses from the coils and what i mean but that i am not talking a bout where the spark plug leads go on as the would kill it

that sounds very much like a autometre tacho you have there??? you got it right but did you try the brown wire on the passenger side guard?

just wanted to know does any 1 know if all cars that don't have a rpm taco have a plug for after market parts like some commodores don't come with rpm tacos but you can get a wiring harness does any 1 know if any make or model cars have this? nodg i am not 2 sure what it is only got a wiring digram. on the back of it says dixson inc made in u.s.a pat.pending cant find info on it if any 1 can find some thing on it i would be greatful. it just says on the info the wirie and hook it up like this attach yellow wire to + side of lights black to a ground red to a constant + and green to the coils

sorry for the re-post just want to find out if it works or not don't really care that much as iam getting a type R 5 inch tach with shift recall but a friend wants this 1 before i get the type r one i know how to hook it up for the old cars that arent controlled by computer but the new 1s i have no idea where else it could go other then the dizzy

if your reffering to the vn, then theres tacho feed to the dash even if the model didnt come standard with a tacho, the tacho feed is acessed there but the brown tacho wire in the passenger side loom is easiest acessible but doesnt always work.....

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.
