g day my vn idels beautifull but say if u put the revs up to 2500 for like 30 secons or go for a small drive then when it returns to idels it misses but then if you turn it off and start it again it idels good again i think it could be the fuel pump or injecotors just wonderg other peoples opinions

or coilpack... reason being is that with rpm or a short drive, the spark will be heating up the leads, increasing resistance, possibly causing the miss.. then when switched off, they can dissapate the heat and go back to normal...

I had the same issue not long ago and it was one of the coils that was sending out some spark, but not enough under load. Once I changed it, it worked wonderfully and has not missed a beat since. I was ready to get a complete motor overhaul for my VP after what I was told by different garages, but it don't need it and never did.
