Hey guys! Gotta little problem with my boot! It works when it wants to work! sometimes i have to sit there and continously press the boot press release button! any ideas people???

worn button, ring holden and they will issue you with a code and you can get one from a battery/watch shop

im assuming you mean the button on your imobaliser? if not check the connections at the back of the boot realease button in the glove box and if that fails i would replace the button

if it not the button a bit of crc in the latch might work to !!

@trizo... ya think crc will help a boot that doesnt like closing lol?
mines a pain in the butt.. sometimes i gotta slam it twice before it shuts!

@ tassiecommodore YEAH I DO! Its commom knowlage that crc is used for freeing up sticky parts ie: boot latches that are stickin open or closed!!! anything else usful to say tassie????

I could sit there for ages pressing the button(in the glovebox) and it open when it wants to! But if i get someone to lift the boot while im pressing the button it opens straight away! annoying thing is what if i dont have anyone there with me Lol i sit there for a while!

Does that help at all!

So Where can i get this button?? holden dealer?

adjust your boot rubbers so that the is mor upward forse on the boot

this might work if not always carry a mate hahahahaaah

i wouldnt! especially since owning a car that has everything electronic. Ok, unbolt the boot realese coupling which is 2 bolts and realign it. it will take a few go's but youll eventuly get it

trizo "your a bloody legend" the good ol CRC has done it again Lolz it worked! opens fine now!

i might just do what nodg suggested and relign the 2 bolts

I need to make sure 100% it opens because i shaved my boot! no key hole no spoiler holes! would be annoying if didnt work Lol
