Hi,
i got a V6 VN wagon, its started to stop after like 10 minutes, now it stops as soon as it warms up,then yu need to wait until it cools down before it will start again,,,i tried changing fuel filters, replaced the coils,,its getting worse all the time.. Someone told me it's the computer doing it, once it sarts to get hot,,,
Has anyone had this experience?
Any advise would be appeciated...

Have a look here buddy - http://www.vncommodore.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=450
Crank angle sensor senses the position of the crank to determine when to inject fuel and when to fire.
Have a look behind the harmonic balancer on the passenger side of the engine and you will see some wire going in.
These are connected to the sensor.
A quick test when the car stops next time get a bucket of water and pour the water directly onto the sensor.
This will cool the sensor and the car should start straight away.
Other than that check the codes using the link I put at the top of the post and you should be able to get it sorted.
Feel free to ask any questions and welcome to the club!!
Cheers

if the comp is doing it theres a reason. are you getting an engine light when this happens. if yes you can workout the code and it will point you in the right direction. could be crank angle sensor?
