hey guys i have a vn commodore and its coming off the road soon for a couple of months to get some work done to it, at the moment my speedo isnt working, i am aware that it is most likely the cog in the back of the clust but i am looking at getting an autometer gauge kit with a speedo, water temperature and fuel level qauges and putting them in the original cluster area, one thing i need to know is who can tell me where the speed sensor/sender is? and also does anyone know what the ohms reading is from full to empty for the fuel level gauge, need to know before purchasing. hopefully you's can help me, thanks!!

It would be easy to check the ohm readings on the fuel gauge by removing the sender assembly from the tank, and with a multimeter bridging the original circuit, raise and lower the foat assembly attached to the sender

Welcome to the club buddy!
Your speed sensor is located on the side of the tranny/gearbox but unfortunately I cant help you with the fuel sender specs.
