Looked at a few of these nothing fitted the bill for what i needed...
What i'm looking for is some old .bin files off of ecm memcals(eprom) i had a late series one engine in a 90 model.... It died at about 350k dropped a lifter or a cam lobe to old to open up and have a look... end up costing too much to fix sooooo i now have a series II gotten all modern :).....
Anyways if any of you guys have some of the old .bin 's laying around in the dark corners of a hard drive i would really like to have a chat..
The new project is playing around with map tables and i need some files to have a play... got a mate with the reader/burner just need some media to try and ruin the new series II...
If i start and anybody is interested will post results good bad and scary :S
Hey sounds good So far i've used Winaldl and EFILiveV4 both good although the EFILive is pretty restricted.... The best Software for the bins looks like Tunercat its set up for the not so gifted..... Anyway what i was looking at was a S pack or ss .bin for vn Series II V6..... I have the stock one in the car now and would like to load all 3 into the tuner software to see the differances...

.... and to the old and bolds yes i know its all been done before, but all the sources seem to have gone offline in the last 3 years or so... a fella called Moates seemed to be a jedi master but all thats left is the ecm memcal indexes.... if anybody knows how to contact him if they could ask him to have a look for me..... again much appreciated...

we are currently uploading another program based on winaldl but with alot more features than efilive v4 and aldl put together, and its free! by the way i would be giving you bin files from a v8 so i dont know if thats any good to you........
Hey thanks for the offer but no the V8 .bin's wont work.... If the ALDL program is the same as the one on another thread on this site definately interested in a look, seemed to be a prob with the link I'll keep an eye on it... found the moates site last night, they seem to have some sort of library I'll let you know what i find... Going away for a week I'll look in when i get back....

its the best aldl software that ive come across, it was written by another member of this forum. im currently getting it uploaded to www.squaredarches.com so in a few days it will be available for download
Been away for a bit work commitments and moving house - Nov 07 to July 08 :( .... Bit sad really - going to have another crack over the next couple of months. Got an eprom reader and got hold of a .bin file compiler so the saga continues :) Actually thought this would have been archived. Thanks for keeping it open Bob
