Hey everyone , Recently done some work on my series 1 vn BT1, Replaced heater hose, found out had no thermostat so i put one in, i have checked heater swith, and manualy moved it from hot to cold which is located left of the brake pedal, Can someone please give me procedure instruction's for trouble shooting this problem, No Hot Air, air blows from defrost vents fine , all vents work , just no heat , and i am fricken freezing last few day's lol , any help would be fantastic , thanks

Have you tried disconnecting the heater core and running water throught it. Im clutching at straws but perhaps its blocked

the heater core could be blocked up , give it a good flush as suggested , welcome to the site also m8!

OK... flushed it, was not the problem, however was worth flushing was like sludge comming out, ended up being the hose from the heater core to the heater tap , it was blocked , very blocked lol, nice and warm driving now , problem solved , thank you for the info,

I had a feeling from what you were saying that something was blocked, ordinarily you can drive around middle of winter on a 2 degree night windows down heater up. I talk from experiance on that one.

Yeah , im not cold now lol, however its not as hot as i would have liked, do you think it might be the valve on the heater tap meaning not enough vacum ? or prehaps i need to power flush the heater core with a flushing agent and compressor ?
